into the fall line maybe but it becomes the simplest of things oh survival into the deeps faced with having to turn into the fall line oh against everthing thing we know and enjoy it turn again into the fall line and back again
Val, this came after an exhausting afternoon of coaxing four children down from the summit through almost two miles of deep heavy snow. It was tough slogging and every turn was an effort.
We arrived at the base late... but we made it. Smiles intact.
Hi Dale, yes I did see the snow flakes! They add to the feeling of action and vibrancy in your photo! I also love the details you see when enlarging. It's as if these tiny pics come alive ;-)
Nice prose! Love it. That would be me *literally* during the pathetic attempts at skiing ... "into the fall line" and falling, and falling, and falling. ha!
Somewhere in the not too distant past, I think I missed wishing you a happy birthday, Dale ... I know you are Aquarius, but I fear that I don't remember the month and date. Sorry. Hope it was a happy one.
Great pic Dale, and I like the poem too..it sounds more serious than the photo suggests, but very true of the thrill of the slopes.
