The last glorious days of August and a cool, beautiful lake with cool, beautiful people to pepper the shoreline. What more do you need?! What a gorgeous spot. Your special place on the earth. :::sigh::: (yes ... Beau is completely adorable. *LOVE* those little front paws)

I do love where I live - no doubt about that!
ReplyDeleteThe deer were in the neighbouring empty lot - a mum, 2 fawns and another adult.
Colleen is my best friend from Saskatchewan - been friends for over 30 years now...
You might recognise the view from my deck - across the lake is a train hauling coal to the west coast.
That is Jenny on the right at the beach - she and her friend, Denise, were babysitting the two little tow-headed girls, Emily and Katie.
And lastly, is wee Beau with his short, bowed front legs hanging about his favourite planter - he loves playing in the wet after I water the flowers!
Merci, ma soeur.
ReplyDeleteSorry String... ;)
Maybe I could sell it, Val!
As in filet, Anne-Marie? lol
Gorgeous photos. Gorgeous place.

Thanks, Grace! Although you, too, know what it's like to live in a beautiful place...
ReplyDeleteTink, the last days of August are always my favourite part of the summer.
