ah! there you are Dale, I figured you were thinking of coming up with something. I came by a couple times... (hoped that was it anyway, that you hadn't closed your blog :).)
Yes, Dale, it was Philip's. Kind of figures really doesn't it? I had to laugh today. I was on the Vereeniging doing some work when there was an almightly thud. Aha, I thought, that must be Philip. Sure enough, I looked out and there he was, all teeth, grinning at me as he moored up next to me.. so nice that some things never change ;-)
We are all trying to help him get some money for the things he lost when his tugboat sank by giving him receipts for any items of value we have. At least he's still smiling and that's the main thing.
I hope you manage to think up your new post soon, dear heart...
I'm sinking...well I'm not but Philip did...
ReplyDeleteSorry Dale, what are you sinking...I mean thinking about??
Oh no, Val! Was that Philip's barge that you wrote about on your blog?
ReplyDeleteAh, I'm thinking about what to write for my next post...
;)
