My name is Midnight Raven.
My passion is Freedom.
I fly with the eagles and the ospreys.
I sail upon unfurled wings.
I feel the wind in my face
and laugh
and cry.
And in the presence of fear
I soar
higher and higher
farther and farther.
And exalt in the face of that fear.
I live
and I thrive
as I ride the mistral.
I am Midnight Raven.
And my essence is Freedom.
Hi Dale,
ReplyDeleteI like this passion.
I am glad you got your computer hooked up. How did the move go? It sounds like you live just where I live, are you next door? lol Except we are lucky not to have the humidity.
xo
Yay, you're back! So sorry you are suffering from the heat, dear Dale.
ReplyDeleteThis poem is beautiful! Says a lot about you too, I feel...your essence is freedom.
Thanks for visiting all my humble blogs. Yes, I like the black and white tile effect too. Koos says it looks like a masonic temple ;-)
Stay with us Dale. We've missed you xx
It is indeed good to be back and I've missed you all, too.
ReplyDeletelol Grace - sometimes I feel like I'm right next door!
It's not so humid here as "muggy". We don't get the humidity here, either, but it's just been a bit more clammy than usual. It looks like another baker again today - must spend more time at the beach.
There is a wonderful story behind the poem.
And, Val, I never left you... ;)
xx
Hi Dale,
ReplyDeleteI hope your move went smoothly. I'll take your mugginess if you'll take our rain.
xx
AM
We would like to hear that story.
ReplyDeleteYes, more time at the beach! We are having 'oven like' days too. I think I shall change my last name to 'baked potato'! lol
