I had no idea Dale!!! BRILLIANT artwork! Pete needs to see this! Keep on keepin' on the drawings. I wonder,is drawing something that can come nice and flowing like when someone is on a creative roll writing songs and then can develope a sudden block,a streak of blocks like writers can?I used to draw way back when but developed some serious creative feel for it.It was the oddest thing.Beautiful work,Dale!
I do believe that, whether you're a sketcher, painter, songwriter or author, anyone can get that "artistic block". ...it even happens with me & my housework... LOL! Sometimes it flows & comes, seemingly out of nowhere, & other times it just isn't there. Perseverance is the ticket, I think. Look at how Pete has persevered with his "Lifehouse Project"! He has been a major influence on how I approch my creative side.
Hi, had to delete my comment because I wanted to add something... Pitty we can't edit our comments on blogger.
Here's what I had written: This is soooooooo good, Dale! I've said it before and I'll say it again: there's a lot of talent around here...!
Sending you my love this cold and dull Sunday.
I wanted to add an answer to your question about the view outside my kitchen: I'm on level 1 and the view is quite good. I can see typical english houses from my kitchen window and an old church from my bedroom window... Not bad :o) I have a video I want to edit and then I'll post it, so you'll have a better idea.
That's wonderful, Dale - to me, the eyes are one of the hardest things to capture (although I suck at noses too), to get the expression just right. I think you've done just that.
Hi Dale What is the superlative of stunning? That would apply to your drawing. Love Koos PS You're Dale. My love's called Val. Coincidence? (Just teasing...)

ReplyDeleteI wish I could draw like that. You are so talented!! :) Have you ever sold or thought about selling your drawings?
Hi Everyone!
ReplyDeleteThanks, for your kind & encouraging words about my artwork!
My art means a lot to me.
I wish I had a larger portfolio. I will just have to do something about that...
It's the lack of time & maybe initiative -
so, I will feed upon all your positive energy & use it as incentive!
Thanks, again.
Dale
Wow, Dale, I'm impressed. That's great work!
