THURSDAY

"Top of the World" is a great run off the front side of the summit!

I have found it all the more challenging by hanging a left into "Tree Time", snaking in and out between the trees, then turning back into the open and onto the steeper pitch below.

I do not have to work today and this afternoon I was scheduled to go to my ski programme, Chicks on Sticks, but I will be staying home with my son. He has been sick since yesterday with the flu, poor little fellow. He has a very high fever with a headache and a bad cough.

I am sorry to miss Chicks, but I am more than happy to remain here with my son to care for him and spoil him rotten!

I understand about loving to be home and spoil your baby. I do the same thing! nothing better than being a mom!

Oh, yeah, you asked how was my Wednesday. It was great! I felt like it was a very productive day and I am very pleased. now to counteract it, I am the laziest sod today! I don't feel like doing anything. But I am.

  4. Hey,
we had chicks with sticks here two years ago- dragonboating babes, we were, when my school staff ran a boat for the annual community dragonboat festival.

Sometimes being a mom means giving up the things you love, no? Your son is a lucky boy.

    Cheers,
    AM

  5. Hello Dale,

I've not been blogging for a while due to work etc...but I have a little more time now.
I'm sorry to hear your son is not feeling so well. Maybe you could spoil him with a nice Cornish pasty or two? Just what the doctor ordered and there's nothing to beat them on a cold winters day!
Anyway, I've put up the recipe for you on my blog.

    Take care, keep in touch

    Adam
