Hi Dale, I'll bet the Laurentians look a lot like the Muskokas- it's all on that wonderful Canadian Shield, no?
I've been to Bobcageon as well- my ex's family had a cottage there. Isn't there a Moxy Fruvous song of that name?
Wickedly cool how the home team has done at the Olympics. We watched the women's 5000m speedskating today. Clara Hughes was amazing, as was Cindy Klassen. I felt bad for the German skater who was trying for a record 4th gold and had to settle for silver-what an amazing athlete she is to achieve 3 Olympic golds in a row. Truly world-class, all three ladies.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend. I think we're snowtubing for sure on the next one, since we just got some fresh snow and my report cards will be done by Wednesday!
Good morning Dumpy. My daughter and I just finished playing dodgeball in the kitchen! What fun!!! I dominated that game in elementary school! I can't believe we were playing in the kitchen. Didn't Mom say never to play ball in the house? Not this mom!!! We had a close call with a bowl on the kitchen counter, but then again the bowl wasn't supposed to be on the kitchen counter, it was supposed to be in the dishwasher. LOL! What fun. The kids are not allowed to play dodgeball in school, not even at recess. What a drag! I told my daughter that we should hold a dodgeball party and invite all her friends over fo rthe express purpose of playing dodgeball! We'll do that when the weather gets warmer so we don't have to play in the kitchen!!! HA!
Hi Dale!
ReplyDeleteAnother medal for Canada! The men's curling team won Gold! They did an awesome job. Scored 7 points in one end. I'm glad they won. USA got the bronze.
Hope your weekend is a good one. have fun in all that snow!
