Moving On

We have put our house up for sale.

Regardless of how much I love our place, it really is just a building and I can continue to make our home in a new house.

Presently I am looking at properties around town, as there are several lots for sale.
I'd love to build a house that we can help design on my new piece of land.
Imagine - a fireplace in my own bedroom!

I am going to use this as an opportunity to move ahead toward new horizons...

  5. Hi Mike, thanks for the get-well wish - he's doing fine...getting bored now.

I don't know how amazing I am, Cheryl Ann - I'm a bit fragile at the moment, but I'll keep on climbing!

It seems like yesterday, Gypsy, you were only thinking of moving.
Now all is said and done - new ceiling and all!

Perhaps I'll end up living in a caravan in the meantime...

  6. When a door closes, a window opens. When you go thru a window it's amazing how things can open up.

Good luck my dear and know that you are close to my heart and my thoughts.

  7. It doesn't matter, where ever you end up, as long as you have peace in your heart, you will be happy..a house is only a home when its filled with your love..

  8. Dale,
It's hard to make all these changes, but you'll come out the end a happier person.

Now that's two kitchen witches I need to be on the lookout for this summer. I haven't forgotten you, Gypsy, it's just that they don't seem to make them anymore! I am hoping little trips to small towns will be successful in my witch hunt!

Lots of hugs to you, Dale.

  9. Lesley - I think I'll just walk out the other door and leave the window free for the kids to climb out!
You are right, my horizon has become broader, for sure.

    Gypsy, I've never had a problem making a home...anywhere.

I will keep my eyes open for a kitchen witch, too, Anne-Marie.
We've some neat shops here that where I might find one.

    Thanks all!

  12. Dale, dear Dale, moving on has to be moving up and a new home can be so exciting, especially if it'sone you can literally make yourself.

You may be fragile now, but keep those wings beating for your freedom and the strength will grow. We're with you to catch you if you falter xx

  13. I have never stayed in one spot as long as I have been in our current apartment. It has been eight years. I have been a gypsy most of my life, as my parents were. Until high school, I didn't finish a full year of school in one school for four years.
I think this is the chance for a truly cleansing time for you Dale. It will be an adventure, and new realm, not a new start, because no one ways to start again, but definitely a hop through the picture window to new and greater times. Out with the old, I say!
Hey, how much do you want for your house?
    Hee hee!
