Angus and Art
I am listening to "Highway to Hell" and drawing.
I don't know if that is the ideal inspiration...
This sketch is the result of five minutes with a pencil - no eraser - and a piece of scrap paper.
The poor little fellow looks like he's on his last legs.
Maybe I should be listening to "It's a Long Way to the Top"...
Hi Dale,
ReplyDeleteWow, five minutes with a pencil would not look quite that good if it were me. I've finally caught up on all your blog entries- we've had network problems on and off the last few days.
Have a great Sunday!
Cheers,

ReplyDeleteIt actually took less time than that, but by the time I'd tweaked it a bit, it was abut 5 minutes.
Hope your network troubles get straightened out.
:)
I don't think there's a secret, Lipstick, just be happy!
ReplyDelete:D
Dale, you're looking yourself lately. Have you been singing Simon's "Sexchange" ? LOL
ReplyDeleteYou are for sure talented. I hope you do this more often.
I know, I know, I heard why you call me Sir, but it reminds me of Marcy calling Peppermint Patty Sir all the time. Do you like my new profile pic? This one can be yours!

Hi Dale,
ReplyDeleteLike I've said before, your drawings amaze me! I couldn't draw a stick man if you gave me sticks. *L* Good for you!!
Hi Dale
ReplyDeleteYour drawing is incredible. I wish oh wish I could draw like that. Five minutes and it breathes life, even if rather a down trodden looking life! LOL
It looks like many of the poor horses I've seen in SA - overworked and under fed, but so much character in just a sketch. My youngest can do that too, and I'm endlessly jealous. I love to paint, but I would love to draw more!
Well done, dear Dale, and have a good week.
Love
Val
PTfan - that is funny about the Sir thing, considering your current post is about baseball.
ReplyDeleteI love Peanuts... & your new look.
I decided to change my own look - that Gibson SG was becoming dead weight about my neck...
Thanks MB - I was about to offer you a couple of sticks.
LOL
Hey Val, I see you're sporting a new look, too!
ReplyDeleteIt MUST be spring!
I was just doodling & it came out that way.
I had been to visit my horse yesterday & deworm him - horses must have been on my mind.
you definalty have a gift...
ReplyDeletemy daughter chantal 23 now..loved drawing horses when she was a child she has the gift too...
ReplyDeleteGypsy, does Chantal still draw horses & does she ride horseback at all?
ReplyDeleteChantal is such a pretty name.
Whoa - my daughter just said "how did she do that in 5 minutes??"
ReplyDeleteYou're very talented young lady!
You're inspiring me to change my profile pic...I like this one!
Take care,
Sue D.

Wow, how talented you are!
ReplyDeleteI would never dare to draw anything. I once tried to draw a dog for my nephew and it looked like a bear smashed on the head with a frying pan or something, LOL.
The photo is fabulous, my dear!

Hi Dale. I read your comment on Rachels blog. My heart goes out to you. I know all too well how you feel. You will pull through, I know. I'll be praying for you, Sweetie.
ReplyDeleteThanks, PTfan from one duvet diver wannabee to another...

Hi Dale,
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you're not feeling well today. *hugs* sent to you.
As for my latest blog, you didn't miss them the first time around- I added them on a later edit once we had our network back up and running.
Cheers, and here's to better days for you!

ReplyDeleteI really am "well" but sometimes life throws a curve & I end up having to scramble.
Thanks & I'm really OK.
Said with a smile.

That horse looks he's been on the highway to hell and then turned around and walked it again- with Angus on his back.
ReplyDeleteBut it is a very good drawing. i wish i had that talent. Boohoo.
