The above panorama is a view from the north west end of our lake. We live along the east shore past the first point on the left of the photo.
The weather has been hot, hot, hot and we have gone to the beach after school and work every day this week.
Run-off has begun, the water level is rising and it's COLD!
Wow, Dale, that's stunning! You live in such a magical place, I get quite wistful when I think of all that beauty out there, and here I have to stay, stuck in a city.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you've been having a heatwave too. Is it dry heat? I imagine it is, and so it must be wonderful. It's stormy, rainy and so windy the barge keeps rocking and bumping into its neighbours. Sin is having the vapours all over again!
Have a lovely weekend, Dale.
Love
Val
wow indeed that is a truley picturesque place you live..i look out on to an industrial railway line and a bomb site where the hospital once was...enchanting ..lol...
ReplyDeleteHi Dale!
ReplyDeleteThat is a gorgeous picture. I'm glad the weather has finally gotten nice by you and winter is now a memory.
Today was a perfect spring day. Sunny and in the 70's. We had a yard sale but it wasn't too successfull. I later found out my sign at the main road was gone. Figures!
have a fabulous weekend!

How beautiful! I could lay in a hammock or on a porch swing for hours and just gaze at that.
ReplyDeleteDid you steal our heat? It was getting hot here and all of a sudden we got our "Blackberry Winter", which is the 3rd of our yearly spring cold snaps.
I'm sorry I didn't respond earlier to your query on my health. I wasn't on here much. I am feeling much better, although still plagued with the mysterious chest discomfort. I'm back to the doctor for the 4th time next week, so maybe we'll have an answer!
