Lovely Dale! A different style from your last horse sketch, but again your talent shows..BTW, I'm listening to the Moody Blues right now and so enjoying it. Got a Best Of album and their songs are so beautiful. Makes me gasp. Reminds me of living on the farm in South Africa, when we had no electricity and had to go and listen to our music in the car. It was the only place we could have a decent stereo in those days! Amazing to sit and watch thunder storms with The Voice playing!
I'm going to catch up on my blogging tomorrow morning, but just wanted to say hello. The picture of the horse is so beautiful. After dogs and cats horses are my favourite animals. After all I was born in the year of the horse.
I like your remark about being sixteen two years ago. Boy, you're only two years older than me, hehe. The funny thing is, I am going to blog something about my age too, but not tonight. Tomorrow morning.
I'm having a strike against exclamation marks, after Sue's suggestion. I think I was overdoing it.
Thanks Val! I love the Moody Blues, too, & they take me back. I have their Gold album.
Hi Marietta! Nothing wrong with exclamation marks! It's a good way of expressing our zest for life! ...and you noticed the sixteen years old...lol!!!!!
Hi Dale, This is a very good drawing.Do you still draw? I'm an artist too. When I was in high school, my focus was landscapes. Today, I like painting and drawing rock musicians. My music has become my muse.

ReplyDeleteHi Dale,
ReplyDeleteMe, grounded? If you say so, my dear. Maybe that's what the extra pounds are for. ;)
I love this sketch- the eyes are quite well done, which is always the hardest part, I'd imagine.

Hi Dale,
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry about your fish. You are a very good drawer, and you have nice cat and dog friends here.
I'll bet you could make a really nice drawing of me, and not only because I'm very pretty, but also you draw very well.
