Dear Dale Well, we're back, and still a bit dizzy after the long night flight, but like good faithful bloggers we've been catching up, and it's been great to read your posts, and see the different dimensions of Dale!
Your drawing of Pete is fantastic - it really captures him in an almost uncanny way, and your descriptions of your life's loves are beautiful.
Dale, I'll write more when I'm a little more compos mentis, but just to say while it was sad to leave, it's also good to be home back in the harbour with Sindy. I was tickled and touched to see her blog and your comment. More later Val
Thanks for taking the time to visit after your long journey home.
I have the original sketch of Pete framed & hanging on the living room wall along with the one of Keith. They both look much better "in person", rather than second hand through a webcam...
It was fun developing the idea for the last few posts. Lots of thinking in the shower!
This blog has brought back to me my love of creative writing & I enjoy the use of metaphor.

PS We were very touched to read your kind comments on both ours and other blogs about our absence.
ReplyDeleteWe missed you too, Dale! Good to be home!
I just wanted to stop by to tell you to check out my blog for picutres and a summary of the Convention activities. What a blast!
