Marietta The sun is shining here today - Sunday. I will wish you a early Happy Easter, because I will not remember when the time comes for you to celebrate the Holiday.
MT LOL I was surprised, but lots of snow makes for great skiing, even if it is the 16th April! Poor Kate will never live that one down...
It is a pretty picture but... all that snow! I hope your spring weather comes quickly. If it is any consolation, it snowed in Sweden last week also.(My son lives there). They are ready for spring too. I will keep my fingers crossed that all the snow will be gone soon.
Yikes - snow! I'm so glad to see it gone from here, but if you're a skier, maybe that gives you another little chance at a few runs down the hill?? Any excuse is a good excuse, right? That's what the die-hard skiers here tell me anyway. :)
That's not really funny is it Dale?? Just as you thought.....I think I'd having something rather strong to say about snowfall in April, even were I a cmmitted skiier. Anne Marie sounds as if she's got the better deal over there in Toronto.
Easter was quiet for me. Koos stayed in R'dam for a family anniversary. Sindy and I went to Brussels to start clearing out the barge there now I've sold it. meep. Weather was showing glimmers of Spring like behaviour but not really convincing yet!
Too late for coherence now. Will write again soon. Love Val
Hi Dale,
ReplyDeleteYou don't mind the snow, though, right? Doesn't it extend the ski season a bit?
Meanwhile, in far away Ontario, it is sunny, all blue skies, and climbing to 16C today (60/62 F for the Americans). Perfect outdoor tennis weather!
Cheers,

ReplyDeleteSnow on the last weekend of the ski season is not what we need...
We want sun & slush on the slopes!
:)

PS We skiers are a fickle bunch.
Hello from rainy London
ReplyDeleteI would prefer snow to the bloody rain! And the wind and the cold during April...
Of course the best would be sunshine and heat, but let's not get carried away...hahahaha.
Thanks for your sweet comments on my blog. I finally got some free time to visit some blogs. Hurrah!
Hope you have a lovely Easter weekend.
