SATURDAY APRES SKI
These photos were taken on the deck at our ski resort last Sunday after the ski lifts had closed.
The first pic is of Neil Osborne, lead singer of 54-40, who not only resembles a young Neil Young, but he holds an uncanny resemblance to my ex who, in turn, resembles Neil Young...
I had trouble getting any more photos of the band because the floor was too crowded.
I also wanted to actually watch the show.
The next picture is of Jenny and me waiting for the show to begin.
My little Mona Lisa...
hey dale that does resemble neil young...just needs the dark glasses...quite a dish....thats a loverly photo of you and your girl and thankyou for your kind words i do appreciate it..x..
ReplyDeleteHi Dale!
ReplyDeleteThe picture of you and your daughter is so cute!! She is a real cutie.
I loved your previous posts on true love and real love. You took the words right out of my mouth. I couldn't of said it better. Only one thing though, I would trade Angus Young with Keith Moon:))
Looks like you had a great time with your daughter this past weekend. That guy sure does look like Neil Young.
I took my son to see The Who back in 89. It was quite an experience but we had a great time. I wanted him to see his namesake!;)
Have a great day!!
Zoe
P.S.
Thanks for your kind words about my lost kitties. It is truly appreciated!!
...Angus keeps getting traded for Keith Moon & Freddie Mercury!
ReplyDeleteWee Angus is still alive.
LOL
;)
Dale
Let me guess Zoe, your son's name is Pete?
ReplyDeleteOr Roger or John...
:)
Dale
Hi Dale,
ReplyDeleteI think the picture of the two of you is adorable- she is such a cutiepie!
LOL at your comment about Angus vs. Freddie or Keith. Yes, a live one is definitely a better bet...
Cheers,
AM
You look so cute with your hair like that!
ReplyDeleteHe does look like Neil Young. And your ex too, eh? So much Neil Young in one post!
...lots of Youngs in the post...
ReplyDeleteI'm feeling rather youthful!
;)

ReplyDeleteHi Dale
ReplyDeleteYou could be Jenny's big sister! What a dear photo of you both. How lovely that you can take your little daughter to these festivals and share the fun and the music- I can't imagine ever sharing my music with my own parents, although my own daughters have very similar tastes to mine.
Does Mr A Young confess to being inspired by Mr N Young?? The general resemblance is uncanny!
Hi Val
ReplyDeleteActually, the photo is of Neil Osborne who looks like N Young.
A Young is the wee fellow in the schoolboy outfit playing his Gibson SG in the bottom post on my blog.
:)
Dale
What a compliment, Val!
ReplyDeleteIt just sunk in that you were commenting upon how young...here we go again...
I look.
I'm actually 40 years Jen's senior!
Thank you - I am flattered!
:)
Hi Dale,
ReplyDeleteCan't speak freely, people might warn Val, so I'll hold my horses. So what shall I say. Will 'cute' get the obvious message across?
Much love
Koos
PS
I have written and produced and uploaded a tune especially for you
and the other wonderful Canadians and Americans and Spaniards and Fins and Danes and Dutch and Japanese and for boys as well ;-)
It is quite unfinished, but I am sure you'll get the drift.
Forgot to mention South Africans.
ReplyDeleteShame on me.
dale check out my blue-cherry-aid chapter theres a surprize for you..
ReplyDeleteHi Dale,
ReplyDeleteHis name is Pete! John is his middle name. John was suppose to be his first name because that is my father in laws name and in greek naming practices the first son is named after the paternal grandfather. I was never forgiven for that one! Hehehe...
