What if you were a bird...

and were afraid of heights.

  1. I'd close my eyes.

Thanks for the good wishes. I'm tied to the computer this weekend for another round of report cards. Yee-haw.

  2. I'd keep looking up and soar ;-) Nice thought though...in reality if that were the case I probably wouldn't be a bird.....can you imagine it?

  3. It came to mind yesterday, as I watched an eagle soaring and wheeling, higher and higher, on the thermal lifts rising from the valley floor.
The huge bird circled so far up into the sky that it dwindled into a mere speck.

It was then that my own great fear of heights came into question...

  4. not a good scenario!
but I would go for it and spread my wings....what choice would I have?

  5. For one who's afraid of heights, Dale, you sure challenge yourself at times ;-)

  6. Hello Dale!

I was thinking that, too, Vally .. with Dale being high up in the mountains. Is it only when your feet are not touching the ground, Dale? Cool beans about being able to watch an eagle in all its majesty. I suppose we could fly a little lower and nest in the lower branches ...

    Great thought!

  7. I love watching the birds at the ocean how they catch the breeze, or wind! and just float around not having to do anything - just spreading those wings.

  8. i think it might be ledges...
    i think to much
and imagine that i might become possessed - then throw myself over..
    never
    i am a survivor
i constantly remind myself that - especially while riding an alarmingly high lift to the summit
getting down is the easy part!

  9. I’d hope that I was a penguin, a rhea, an ostritch, a nandu, a kakapo, an emu or a cassowary – as these birds do not fly.

  10. Then I would be a Dodo.
    Flightless.
    Extinct.

  13. I'm still here, but was away for a while. The altitude was high, but no flying for me.
    I drove.
