Perspective

How small we seem
When from the outside seen.
How large we be
When from within we see.
Just a pinprick in time
When we gauge the line.
But expansive we are
When we look afar.
In this we may confide
For it is ours to decide.

Yes, AM, it came to me as I was beginning to stress over how much I had to do this weekend. Then it came to me that, in the grand scheme of things, it really doesn't matter. It was on my page in only five minutes!

What I know for sure ... via Oprah:
    "All will be well.

    And thank you, Anne-Marie!

  3. Lovely Dale! You have a way of condensing thoughts into the most succinct and poignant verse. Love it!

And the fact that you can come up with these poetic philosophical gems within the space of a few minutes is a real gift. I wish I had it!

I hope you are well, dear Dale. I think we are all phenomenally busy at the moment, and I really have very little time for my favourite blogs, let alone any other internet activity, but I feel it's important to do it now and then. I'd hate to lose touch with you, or any other of my blog friends. You and they are very important to me.

  4. Thank you, Val! And I have an envy of your ability to create a novel - of putting a string of words and thoughts together that cover a period of time.
    You are the story-teller!

I, too, value the friendship that we've forged. You are all very important to me, as well!
