Today is the last day of school year. I am preparing a fruit plate and doing pigs-in-a-blanket for the after-school party at the beach. It's a bit cloudy, with a chance of passing showers, but the kids don't care!
It was bloody cold and windy! I wouldn't even let the girls swim out to the raft - the waves were about a foot high! The girls gobbled their snacks, while shivering in their towels, then high-tailed it to Jenny's dad's to watch movies. Gotta love having a Plan B...
Aww ... still a celebration! Sounds like you planned a wonderful time. Sorry that the weather refused to cooperate. Hope they saw some good movies. :o)
