  1. I like the photos Dale, one is thinking, one is blooming.

I am so happy to hear your Mum has survived 30 yrs. That is awesome. My Mom survived only 10 yrs.

What a beautiful place you live, I'd like to visit someday. Bring my touris $ your way! :)
    Have a good weekend.

  2. Hi Dale, is the pusser staring fixedly at the flower? Cats can do that, can't they? He/she is a very beautiful moggy, and looks most dignified.

The flower - well, that's just soooo springy isn't it? Lovely, they are, both of them.

I have spent the afternoon in my little garden, re-building the fence and watching the sheeple, the chickens and the cats that all seem to use it as their playground. It's better than TV!

Have a lovely weekend, dear Dale xxx Val

  3. I've just noticed the title...lol...is that what the moggy is doing to you?

  4. LOL Val, we knew you'd be the one to catch onto the title!

But I'm surprised that you didn't catch onto the fact that the furry subject is a Dog!
She's our wonderful coyote-something cross, Tucker. The only way I could get a pic was to take one while she wasn't looking - Tucker tends to grovel too much when she is the centre of attention...

As well, if you look closely, the daisy is facing the other way.

I took the flower photo a year or so ago while on a walk. It seems that everyone takes pictures of the blooms of flowers face-on.
I discovered a subtle beauty in this daisy in a view no one really ever notices...

  5. Grace - you are more than welcome to come visit Canada and stay with us!
Bring June and Summer (I almost wrote "Spring" and Summer - a little Freudian slip there...)

We have lots of room, the more animals the better, and we can't be all that far away. (A lotta bit north and litta bit east, I'd venture to guess.)

To change the subject, 10 years or 30, as long as we had the time with our Mums... :)

  6. you're so right!!! Hey, if I m coming up that way, I'll be sure to let you know.

I thought that was a coyote cross in your picture, but I always second guess myself.

  10. Hi Dale! How are things? It looks like you westerners are finally seeing some green. It was 25 degrees here for a week and we still had a pile of snow in the front yard! :-)

Hope all is well with you - from this mega lazy blogger... :-)

  11. Is that a doggy or a wolf?..either way it's cute!!..

  12. Oops, it's a dog? LOL..Val, you are just so NOT observant! From the back, Tucker looks just like my old moggy, Stanley, so I just jumped the gun, and made assumptions without looking closely.

I must say I only noticed the flower was also turned away later, but it made me smile. Yes, it's an unusual angle to take a flower, but then this is you we're talking about isn't it? ;-)

I'm don't follow the references about your mum, but I hope things are okay there? Have you had some bad news?

  13. My mum is fine. It's a conversation that spilled over from Grace's blog.
We were discussing the subject of cancer, and Mum is a breast cancer survivor.

  18. Dale Gale, Where art thou.

So sad to hear about Glen's finger - isn't it!

Hope you are well. I'm busy busy and have started to renovate one room in my basement. I also need to do my roof this year - ugh.

    Take care
