Val, when I watched him play bass all I could do was stare. He made it look effortless. My old roommate would tell you otherwise. She took bass lessons for a month while working as a waitress. All she said is after one day of practice the steaming bowls of soup burned the heck out of her fingers.
Oh yes, Dale. Let us not forget. He was probably the most innovative and brilliant rock bassist ever. Still missed.
