  1. Hi Dale,

    Happy Valentine's day.

Beautiful family you have there. You and hubby make a perfect picture.

Canada brings home the Gold. Fantastic!

Peace, love and light to you and yours,
    Ric

  2. Hi Dale,
Happy Valentines' Day. What lovely pictures- big mountains, blue sky. I'm hoping to hit the snowtube runs by the weekend. That's the best we can do here. :)

  3. Oh look at your cute little braids. It's like you're in Switzerland instead of Canada. How appropriate for you to post pics of your hubby on Valentine's day. You guys, the whole lot of you, ARE ski bums! How can you not be with those gorgeous mountains practically in your back yard? Good morning. I have had no energy all week. This morning I woke and did some stretches, sit ups and push ups. Nothign major, but hopefully something that will kick start my body into thinking that, hey, it had better wake up and want to do things. It stinks to have so much to do and not be motivated. You know that feeling!

  4. Hi Dale,
Snowtubing is indeed getting yourself into a very large, personal innertube and going down a snow/ice run. You get kicked down from the top one tuber at a time, whip down about 70 mph and then they have reverse hills and rubber mats to stop you at the bottom. It's the thrill of skiing without the work! (I'm too hip injured for skiing)

  8. Hi Dale
Now's the first chance I've had to look at other blogs since Tuesday, and I see you posted some great pics of you and yours doing the skiing thing. Your kids must have been born with little skis strapped to their tiny feet. With all those mountains in your back yard, it will be second nature to them I'm sure. Terrific!

I've never skiid (not too musch opportunity to do so in South Africa), but my adoptive countrymen seem to love it and all the cloggies are currently spending their 'crocus vakanties' (spring holiday) heading south to Austria of the French Alps. I guess it's the appeal of the contrast to living in a country where even the sight of a molehill causes excitement!

By the way, I greatly approve your choice of car. My favourite is either a Porsche 356 or a Karmann Ghia convertible.
    Hi to your family too.
    Val
