Waiting for the Calm

I found this photo on the Internet, but it looks very similar to a valley up the road from me.
It looks wild and yet serene - and serenity is what I am waiting for...

It has been a hectic and stressful week.

I am looking forward to lying in my own mountain meadow while surrounded by wildflowers and the warm breeze caressing my skin...

  1. It'll happen soon, Dale. Hang in there. I'm ready for a weekend crash myself. I'm having head explosions from all the activity at school (today: all day rehearsals for Aladdin, lunchtime swimming coaching, after school badminton coaching-too much!!!!) Can I join you in the meadow? I promise I'll be quiet.

    Cheers,

Thanks & you're most welcome to share my meadow!

There's lots of room, lots of flowers & lots of warm wind to go round!

I love the idea that you're teaching the kids to belly dance!
    I'd love to learn myself.

    :)

I WISH I could lie in a mountain meadow whenever I want!

The only solace is that I know there are mountain meadows nearby...

Things seem to be tough for many of us right now.

My thoughts always are that if I have to go through a rough time, I'd rather be doing it here.
I love my mountains & valleys.

There is a sign along the steep mountain road alongside a gorge at the eastern entrance to our valley.
