  1. Blue skies, mountains, a daughter and a dog. A blessed combination Dale. I'm so glad you are enjoying peaceful August days too.

I sense you are very very happy in your new home..there's not much that can beat a tranquil deck looking out of spectacular scenery that is yours for free. Long may you enjoy these moments of beauty and calm peace. xx

  2. lol Val! I just woke up from a "deckadent" nap on my comfy old couch...
You are right - I do love my home on the hillside!

It's nice having my kids all together here, too. Even though Beth has her own place up the road and Bob and Jen are with their dad every 2 weeks, I can't seem to keep them away...
Not that I'd want to anyway!

Jenny and I are having a girl's week together, as Bob is off at summer camp. It's been fun!

    xx

  3. Very pretty, Dale. I love how white the dog and Beth are in the foreground, with the beautiful blue and green hues behind them.

Enjoy the rest of your summer!

  6. It was a beautiful day, Anne-Marie, and those were the real colours of the sky and trees. It was wailing hot that day, too - high 30's.

Lesley, hugs and kisses duly delivered!

String, if I lived away from here, I would be so terribly homesick and I would miss the mountains something fierce.
lol I guess that's why I live here...
