  1. ...but I have a feeling today is going to be a long day.

My daughter did not come home yesterday after school & is still not home.

    I am sick over it.

Everything has been going wrong as of late.

I hope I can hold out - I'm on the very edge.

I put Angus there just because.

...I am on my knees, too.

  2. DALE!!! My god, you must be at your wits end. It's 6 here now, and I don't know what that makes your time, but you must have posted this several hours ago.

Is there any news? Is it Beth or Jenny? Oh Dale, why are we so far away?? I feel sick just at the thought.

Please, please let me know when you hear anything, anything at all!!

I'm on my knees with you...

  4. We're holding hands across the world for you, Dale.

Has she ever done this before? Could she have had a row with a friend and gone off? 15 is such a hard age, but I know she loves you to distraction...she has said so more than once.

  5. Joining my hands in too, Dale. This is no joke. Can't help feeling a bit wobbly in the tummy.
If I could pray I would.

I just got home from work and read all the posts. I am so relieved for you that she's safe.

Positive thoughts sent your way that things work out, but it is a major relief that she's safe for now.

  24. Dale;

I just heard of your daughter, I am glad you know she is safe, 15 is a tough age for a girl and her Mom (I have a 14 year old and she can try my patience trust me). I pray for the two of you and I hope she returns home soon, when she does count to 10 before you say anything to her, just give her a jug and feel her breath in your arms, then talk it out with her. My love and thoughts are with you.

    ReplyDelete
  25. OOoops, don't give her a jug, give her a hug. You most likely will be needing the jug!!

    ReplyDelete
  26. gawd dont mention jugs to dale she has water problems...

    ReplyDelete
  27. Give her a jug..lol...sweet...you'll be so glad to see her mug too...;-)

Dale, I remember when my girls were that age and they couldn't see anything else but their own problems and feelings...geez, I remember being that age myself and feeling the same...lol..true! As Meg and others have said, it's a tough age for a wee lass...just love her. Whatever it is may take time, but love wins through..xxxxx

  30. Dale I just got an email that was sent to me earlier about your daughter...Looks like she made it to call you and you contacted her. I am relieved for you and hope you are feeling the relief! What a scare! I will keep you in our prayers so that things will be at rest for you in regards to your statement that "everything has been going wrong as of late". I am here for you as always.

  44. Hi Dale. I didn't know until just now. It's good she is safe and i hope things get a little easier. I have girls that age and i know what the hormones do to them when they kick in.

Hoping you get what you hope for.
