FOR THE LOVE OF PETS!

I have no idea how I did this. I have been having trouble uploading pictures to Blogger. I just downloaded a new photo, then posted it. It happened.
I think the photo is ROFL!!!!

Has anyone else viewed a horse from the feed bucket???

Been there....

  1. What a cute picture! I think your words describing your love of animals hit home to all of us who have had and lost pets. There is a bond between humans and their beloved animals that are as deep as the love for our families. I always refer to mine as my babies. The only hard part of having animals is that, while they are our "babies", they age faster than we do and eventually become old and frail while we stay relatively young next to them. It's hard to watch, but harder still to let them suffer needlessly. I put my dog down just a year and a bit ago, and I will miss her forever.

Thanks for writing about it, and for posting such a sweet picture. Happy New Year to you and your family, Dale!

  2. ROFL that is so dang cute! Hope you avoided the slobber! I too took riding lessons but am not certified to teach, just the rider. I loved it, EXCEPT I have hayfever so bad I had to go to the hospital two times during two different years of training and was always loaded up with meds. Needless to say I cannot own horses unless I have someone hired to care for them for me as I am just too ill around them. BUT I LOVE THEM!!!! Bittersweet isn't it!

  6. Hi Dale, just a quick one, that horse looks scary to me, it's his eye.
I hope you had a great Christmas and a superb new year, thankyou so much for all your kind words throughout the year, I am very lucky.
I hope the mountain treats you and your family well, I am very envious of your location, have loads of fun and take care.

  7. DALE! I've missed you! Happy New Year!!!

Wow. I can honestly say I have never seen a picture from that perspective before. Wow.

What was the bad news? You don't have to share. Or perhaps it's in your blog somewhere. I haven't read it yet. I just stopped over to say Hi real quick cuz I have a few minutes here.

Someday your daughter will uinderstand all the panic and heartache you are feeling when she leaves and you don't know where she is. I'm glad she's home and safe!!!

Gotta run. Somethings never change! : )
